NEPS At A Glance
Mission Statement
The NEPS Centre aims to increase the participation rate of people
who experience disability or are disadvantaged in the mainstream
employment market. We do this by providing support, advice, information
and training to individuals, organisations and the community.
The NEPS Vision
To collaboratively create and foster employment opportunities
for people who experience disadvantage, so that they can improve
their quality of life and increase their independence.
Principles
Underpinning Our Work
| We believe that:
- Given the right resources, every
individual has the capacity to transform their own life.
- As professionals, we need to
work together to encourage and support clients to value
themselves and to feel valued within the community.
- We respect the right of each
individual to privacy and confidentiality.
- We respect diversity, individual
values, and the opinions of each individual.
- Every staff member contributes
to the overall success of the service by being accountable
for his or her own work performance.
- As an organization, we need to
value honest and respectful communication.

are funded by the Department of Family and Community Services and
are not cost to clients or employers.
The NEPS Centre works with over 300 clients yearly in job readiness,
successful employment and ongoing support as needed. As well, The
NEPS Centre provides industry training on working with people with
mental health issues. We are continually developing new programs
